TRACTOR school of design
What’s been the biggest hurdle about moving to Melbourne from overseas?
There really hasn’t been any! It’s a great city to move into.
What is it about Melbourne?
The culture, the people. I’ve been to Sydney and I’ve been to the West Coast and there’s just something different about Melbourne. The people are friendly here, they’re open-minded. The design and music culture is everywhere, it’s the best city for someone artistic to be in. I’ve been here for 2 1/2 years and I can’t see myself moving.
What are you most looking forward to?
I’m looking forward to see what is to come from what I am doing at the moment with study. I’m looking forward to what my education is going to bring me
What’s the best bit of advice you’ve been given?
Maybe – Maybe not. It basically means that even something that seems bad at the time may not be so don’t let it get you down.
What’s your favourite memory?
I was diving on The Great Barrier Reef at night-time and there was no lights around except for the stars and the moon. All of a sudden there was a big tiger shark, three or four metres long next to me. We swam next to each other for a few minutes. I reckon that’s one of the most beautiful, amazing moments I’ve had.
